SANTA CLARA, CA - January 6, 2005 - United Defense Industries,
Inc. (NYSE: UDI) has been awarded a $34.3 million contract modification
from U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command to provide
systems technical support and logistics services in support of the
Bradley Fighting Vehicle System.
The work will primarily be done in Santa Clara, Calif. and is expected
to be completed by November 2005.
