With thousands of people logging onto computers every morning on various operating systems and using numerous applications, the Information Technology (IT) team plays a critical role in BAE Systems' day-to-day operations. IT provides computer and telecommunications support to engineers, manufacturing personnel and personnel in various business functions by keeping the networks, phones and applications running properly. In addition, IT consistently reviews the technology needs on a divisional basis to ensure that employees have the tools they need to perform their jobs.

We employ talented individuals in the following areas:


IT infrastructure
Provide technical support on all phases of operating system analysis, research of requirements, planning, implementation, and hardware and software evaluation across multiple mainframe and networked computer platforms (e.g., Novell®, UNIX, Windows®, Mac® and VMS workstations and microcomputers in a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) and client/server network environment).

Provide computer applications support through system modifications and enhancements and respond to customer inquiries on computer concepts, techniques and tools. Participate in all phases of systems development, including project management, analysis, design, construction, testing, installation, documentation and user training.


technical applications
Provide technical support to users (e.g., CAD/CAM/CAE, engineering tools, CM, various databases, Windows and UNIX) involving computer software/hardware applications, and lead projects that require analyzing, evaluating, designing, coding, testing and implementing solutions to engineering computing problems.
